Darjeeling-Kalimpong-Gangtok (7 Nts/ 8
Days)
DAY 01: BAGDOGRA-SILIGURI-DARJEELING
Arrival at Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station, transfer to Darjeeling, a
drive of 96 kms. On arrival check into hotel. Overnight at hotel
Mohit/similar.
DAY 02: DARJEELING
Early morning sightseeing of Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise
and its amazing effects on the Mt.Kanchanendzonga(worlds 3rd highest peak).
Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batsia loop war memorial while returning to the
hotel. Breakfast at the hotel followed by full day sightseeing covering
Padmaja N.Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetian
refugee Self help center and visit to the mall and local market. Overnight
at hotel.
DAY 03: DARJEELING
After breakfast, Leave for full day sightseeing to Llyods Botanical Garden,
Rock Garden, Observatory Hill. Visit the mall & nearby places. Evening
at leisusre. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 04: DARJEELING-KALIMPONG
After breakfast, leave for Kalimpong, a drive for 51km,. Check in to hotel.
Leave for half day sightseeing to Durpin Dara, Tibetan Monastery, Flower
Nurseries, Evening at leisure. Overnight at Kalimpong Park Hotel/similar.
DAY 05: KALIMPONG - GANGTOK
After breakfast, leave for Gangtok. On arrival, check in to hotel. Day at
leisure. Overnight at hotel Central/similar.
DAY 06: GANGTOK
Morning Excursion tour to Tsangu Lake with its crystal clear water is one
of the manyh jewel-like lakes that nestles amidst the high peaks in Sikkim.
This is a high altitude lake close to the Indo-Tibet border. It is situated
at a height of about 12,000 ft. Falls in the protected area and recently
opened for tourism. This abound, is surrounded by peaks, that are reflected
perfectly by the lake. Afternoon is free. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 07: GANGTOK
Morning sightseeing covers Jawaharlal Nehru Botanical Garden, International
Institute of Tibetology, Do-Drul Chorten, one of the most revered stupas in
Sikkim. Afternnon, Check out of the hotel and transfer to Darjeeling (4hrs).
Transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 08: GANGTOK-BAGDOGRA/SILIGURI
After breakfast, transfer to Bagdogra airport/NJP Railway Station for you
onward destination.

Pemayangtse Tour
DAY 01:
Arrive Bagdogra airport and transfer to Gangtok 124 kms., 6 hours drive.
Lunch en route. On arrival at Gangtok check into hotel. Folowed by briefing.
Eening visit to see the breath taking sunset of Mt. Kanchandzonga and Mt.
Sinolchu, from Tashi view point. Return to hotel.
DAY 02:
Visit to Rumtek Monastery, Jawaharlal Nehru botanical garden, the epica
garden, followed by lunch at the hotel. Afternoon visit to enchey monastery,
cottage industry, institute of tibetology and do-drul chorten. O/n at hotel.
DAY 03:
Morning excursion to tsangu lake 34 kms. From Gangtok, close to the
Indo-Tinet-Border, it offers different colours and beauty in four seasons.
It is peaceful, serene and tranquil. Return to Gangtok. Spead evening at
leisure to see gangtok market. O/n at hotel.
DAY 04:
After breakfast drive from gangtok to pemayangtse check into hotel mt.
Pandim/Tourist lodge.
Pemayangtse the perfect sublime lotus. The pemayangtse monastery, which is
the 2nd oldes monastery in sikkim belonging to the tantric nyingma-pa sect.
Inside the monastery is the fabulous 'Santhokpalri' said to have been
revealed in a dream and carved single handedly out of wood. A short walk
brings you to the sangna cholling monastery in the midst of a forest
secluded and serene. After lunch a leisurely stroll down to the palace ruins
of rabdentse which was the first government of sikkim, constructed after the
consecration of the first king phuntshog namgyal in 1642 R.D. O/N at hotel.
DAY 05:
After breakfast drive down the valley to rimbik and 20 odd kms away is the
serene and sacred lake of khechopalri. This is the largest low altitude lake
in this region of the himalayas. A pilgrime centre, this lake is associated
with many legences- the most popular being that thelake is kept clean by the
birds of the surrounding forests. Lunch by the lake. Afternoon visit the
dubdi monastery which is the oldest existing monastery of sikkim; built
during 1700. Return to pemayangtse. O/N hotel.
DAY 06:
Drive back from pemayangtse to gangtok- through tea plantations at temi.
Picnic lunch will be served en route. Arrive gangtok late in the afternoon.
Check into hotel. O/N at hotel.
DAY 07:
Departure gangtok for bagdogra to catch your onward flight.
