Dubai is the second largest of the seven Emirates, which make up the
United Arab Emirates. Dubai is a holiday destination, which offers all the
modern luxuries while successfully retaining its traditions and cultural
heritage. The sub tropical arid climate of Dubai adds to its many
attractions.
Dubai is an energetic metropolis. The creek forms a commercial focal
point of the city, a constant and picturesque reminder about the city built
on trade. Dubai is famous for the excellence and variety of shopping from
the latest electronic gadgetry, designer fashions, antiques and purest gold
at best prices. But there is more to Dubai than shopping holidays.
The combination of Sun, sand & sea makes for superb beach holidays in
Dubai; explore the citys history in the narrow alleys of the old town
and in museums; golf can be enjoyed at three magnificent courses; fine
wining, dining and entertainment in restaurants, bars, discos and
nightclubs. One of the landmarks at Dubai -The Jumeirah Beach Hotel is the
only seven star hotel in the world.
